Irish Whiskey
E.B. McGuire, 1973

E.B. McGuire had collected the  Excise in Northern Ireland for years before he wrote this book, a very technical, figure-laden, rather "Barnard-esque", but to this day most comprehensive Account on the once greatest Industry in Ireland.

The book explains the reasons for the expansion of the Scottish Whisky Industry at the Expense of the Irish, and also deals with the evolution of Distilling plants and techniques.

"Irish Whiskey" is long out of print, but can still be found in second hand shops.
